Elma Ferreira Jäntges was born in 1965 in São Paulo, Brazil. She studied law in São Paulo and since 1988 is admitted as a lawyer in Brazil. She came to Germany in 1996 and received her Master of Law at the Cologne University, her specialised area being “International Commercial/Economic Law”.
Elma Ferreira Jäntges worked with Linklaters Oppenhoff & Rädler in Cologne as a legal adviser until 2002 and was responsible for the “Brazilian Desk” until she founded the Office Law & Languages in 2003.
